WW21/Multi Ch./UK Sh Ch. Olvinglay Soothsayer JW (imp ITA)
Olvinglay Soothsayer was a gift from Giovanni Monteverde. He was born in Italy out of a beautiful bitch that I had given to Gio to mark his 21st birthday, so I was delighted to have Tarot come back to join us at Blackthorns, with his outstanding pedigree he has much quality to offer. Tarot has grown into a big, strong boy with the most outgoing and friendly disposition. His coat is stunning, such a lovely dog to prepare for the show ring. He won his Junior Warrant with ease, collecting all the points needed with the exception of one single open show win while he was a young puppy, he then had a massive puppy moult and we had to wait three months before he returned to the ring with a new coat coming in to put the cherry on the cake at a year. Tarot has joined the team out on the shooting field, where he was totally unfazed with gunfire, sitting quietly during the drive I hope to give him more work experience as and when time allows. At Crufts 2020 Tarot made us very proud taking first place in the Junior dog class, he loved the big ring, and the unique atmosphere of Crufts. Tarot has good health clearances, his hips are 3:5 total of 8, his elbows are 0:1 and he has a clear eye certificate including a normal gonioscopy test for the predisposition of glaucoma. He is DNA tested clear for Ichthyosis as well as being clear of both PRA 1 & 2 and as with all my dogs he has also been heart tested by a cardiologist and has a normal certificate. He is an efficient stud and his first litters are looking very promising.
