Champion Xanthos Givenchy JW SGWC
After a few unsuccessful tries it really was a case of third time lucky when we got Ch Xanthos Debbie Does Dallas into whelp. Born on the 11.11.11 I wanted to mark the important day and named the litter after World War One battles, with a connection to the same for their call names. So Wren was named after the battle of Givenchy and my little war baby has proved to be a winner. She took second at Bath Championship Show, her first outing and followed that up the following week with Best Puppy in Breed at Southern Counties Championship Show. Very much her mother’s daughter she loves the show scene, taking all I ask of her in her stride. Wren along with her sister Xanthos Megiddo had her Junior Warrant before her birthday, Best Puppy and even Best of Breed wins were already in the bag for this little star. Wren then had a stunning litter of 6 puppies to Sh Ch Shardanell Castaspell with Xanthos Xtravaganza in Spain, Xanthos Xpialidocious in the USA and Xanthos Xavier in Holland flying the flag overseas. She came back to the show circuit looking great in 2014 winning her class at Crufts, and continued to do well all summer collecting a reserve CC and then her first CC at the Eastern Counties Club Championship Show. Wren is not just a beautiful girl, she is smart too. She is very willing to work and in January 2015 she took and passed her Show Gundog Working Certificate. I am very proud of her. Rarely out of the cards, she now has a full Champion title to her credit as well as 7 reserve CC’s . Her son Xanthos Bullet Proof is proving to be just as much a showman as his dam, he too is also an excellent worker.
